Recognizing this, NiV and EMpower have launched the Skills Training and Economic Prosperity Project (STEP), a coding initiative designed to equip young people in the northern region of Ghana with the tools they need to thrive in the tech-driven future.
Who Can Apply?
The program is open to youth aged 15–24 who are passionate about technology and eager to learn. Whether you dream of building websites, designing apps, or simply exploring how code can solve real-world problems, STEP is here to guide you.
What You Will Learn
Participants will gain hands-on experience in:
- Introduction to Programming: Understanding the basics of how computers think.
- Web Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript): Building interactive websites from scratch.
- Problem Solving with Code: Using logic and creativity to tackle challenges.
- Building Simple Websites & Apps: Turning ideas into functional digital products.
