About Us

Who We Are?

NiV is a leading hybrid and independent social enterprise organization dedicated to building sustainable businesses for social impact among the youth in Northern Ghana. Economic independence among the youth is of significant concern, and we provide pragmatic, youth-centred solutions by partnering with like-minded organizations, including impact investors, to invest in youth development across various sectors such as skills development, transport, health and nutrition, hospitality, agriculture, waste management and climate related actions, with a cross-cutting lenses of market access and business support services.

The NiV concept originated from experiences gathered since 2015 through a long-lasting partnership with organizations in implementing livelihood projects. The years 2020 and beyond are critical for revitalizing the NiV initiative and fully implementing social entrepreneurship to address key strategic issues of youth unemployment, poverty and climate and the environment.
